OGPD: Day 1 — Bride Hopper
I decided to start a challenge — one game per day.
The condition is to spend no more than one day on each project and to write clean code following SOLID and KISS principles, as much as time allows.
My goal is to practice prototyping and writing architecture that scales easily and can be reused between projects.
This is also an exercise in creativity and the ability to find good solutions under time pressure. An idea comes — I implement it, without long analysis or editing.
Here’s a playable I made in one day
I picked a simple mechanic — jumping over obstacles.
The setting: runaway bride.
The character is a bride who has to jump and dodge potential grooms.
The visual style is pixel art.
Originally, I planned to add many groom characters, but for the sake of speed, I limited it to four.
